frequently asked questions

What is the Tako Sweat Towel made from?

The Tako Sweat Towel is made from soft, lightweight waffle-weave microfibre. The textured weave helps absorb sweat efficiently while allowing the towel to dry quickly between workouts.

What are the carabiner and magnet used for?

The carabiner lets you attach the towel securely to your gym bag, backpack, or belt loop. The built-in magnet allows you to keep it within easy reach by attaching it to compatible metal gym equipment.

Is the towel quick-drying and easy to carry?

Yes. The lightweight microfibre fabric dries faster than a traditional cotton towel and folds compactly, making it easy to carry from your workout to work, travel, or everyday activities.

How should I wash and care for the towel?

Detach the magnet and carabiner before washing. Machine-wash the towel on a gentle cycle with similar colours and allow it to air-dry. Avoid bleach, fabric softener, and high heat, as these can reduce the absorbency of the microfibre and damage the fabric.

Soft and absorbent without the bulk

It absorbs sweat well without feeling heavy in my gym bag.

The right size for everyday workouts

Big enough for a sweaty session and small enough to carry every day.

Quick-drying after every workout

I wash it after my workout and it is ready again much faster than my cotton towel.

Magnet and carabiner cover every surface

I love the magnet on metal racks and machines, and the towel dries quickly after a hard session. Of course, the magnet does not help on plastic or wooden surfaces, so I use the carabiner there. I still reach for it more than a normal towel.

Magnetic hold keeps my towel close

I stick it to the rack between sets and always know where my towel is.

Carabiner clips easily to my bag

I clip it to the outside of my bag so a damp towel is not sitting with my clean clothes.

Keeps my towel off the gym floor

The magnet keeps it off the floor and close to me. Such a small feature, but it makes gym sessions feel cleaner and easier.

Soft waffle fabric absorbs sweat fast

The fabric feels soft on my face and picks up sweat fast.
